A Cowgirl's Taste for Life: Making Something out of Nothing

I met Cindy Smith at one of her performances and did not guess that she learned to play the guitar and started singing just a few short years ago. Her career took off running as evidenced by her many appearances and CDs. She captivated me with her stories growing up. I would never have associated this exuberant, smiling woman with the charming voice having to endure the hardships she experienced. Accounts of her childhood, not-so-normal occurrences, struggles with her daughter’s illness and not to mention her Guardian Angel intervening in her life will grip you. In sharing her life with us, she brings hope to those who feel they have nothing to give and some darn good recipes with scant ingredients.
