Student Writing Journal

Writing takes practice, but for many students the very process is intimidating. Catherine, long time teacher and long time author, helps students get the practice they need. This writing journal contains ninety writing prompts and ten "flat sentences" - with places to write four different versions of each flat sentence (combining the lessons from Catherine's original "Ninety Writing Prompts" and "Waking Up the Joys of Writing" in one convenient, economical location). Each of the 130 lessons is short, but the combined effect takes a student far on the way to being a writer - little by little, line by line.
