Diary of a Meningioma: A Patient's Perspective

At age 41 Kevin was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor that was slowly crushing his brain. In this 2019 revised first person account, Kevin blends an optimistic and sometimes humorous outlook with easy to understand medical explanations of his treatment. After an initial misdiagnosis, the story follows the shock of a brain tumor diagnosis, surgery and blood clot complications, recovery, and then a 2019 follow up with migraines and radiation treatment. Along the way the deeper psychological doubts and thoughts of a person who is forced to question their own brain are mixed with the light hearted daily reflections that many people going through the same journey will be able to relate to.
