Improving Students' Academic Achievement: The Essentials

Currently, our students are falling behind their counterparts in other advanced countries. They can learn more, and we must make it possible for them to do so. In order to provide an education system in which they can improve their academic achievement, we need to be aware of the answers to five fundamental questions: 1. What is happening in our schools? 2. Why is that happening? 3. What is the result? 4. How do we learn? 5. What must be done to improve academic achievement in our schools?
