Trick of the Mind

How can she fight back when she doubts her own sanity? When a young wife hears imaginary rats in the attic and a ghost child crying in the night, she fears she’s losing her mind the same way her mother did decades ago. Inexplicable blackouts, wild imaginings, and puzzling events pile up. Is her mind playing a trick on her? Or is something else happening? Something too horrible to acknowledge much less face.
