Panopticon: Behold, the King of the Machines

Panopticon is a sci-fi/adventure novel that explores the broken earth of the Lazarus Era. Since the last Great Energy War our planet has grown fragile. The once verdant islands are now scarred and roamed by malformed creatures and mechanical abominations; war is everywhere and it seems as though bleak futures await all but a privileged few. The narrative spans three generations and takes us through America, India, Scotland, Indonesia and even beyond our atmosphere. I have coupled the novel's adventure roots, which focus on escapism and travel on a visceral level, with the exciting fantasy elements of science fiction.
