The Unnatural Life Ellie and her friends, Kenzie and Lizzie, are fairly normal girls (besides the fact that they have magical powers). They get good grades, do normal activities, and, for the most part, they act normal too. Now back to the magical powers. Ellie reads minds, Kenzie can control the future, and Lizzie can do a perfect imitation of any animal, imaginary or not. When Annabell Swanson moves to town, their lives start to become a lot more out of the ordinary. Is it the way she always knows exactly where they’re going to be, the fact that she always does the opposite of what Ellie expects, or the way she answers questions in riddles that has Ellie on edge? And could this new girl have anything to do with the creepy dreams or those strange, white, talking animals? The Big Secret Ellie and her friends are back to their semi-normal lives when another new girl moves to town. Her name is Saphire and she’s pale, has dark hair, and wears an abnormally large amount of sunblock. And she turns out to be a vampire, but otherwise, she’s nice. So when Lilliana, the most popular girl in school, starts to unravel Saphire’s secret, the girls jump to their new friend’s aid, but in the midst of struggling to protect Saphire’s secret, they forget to protect their own. The Haunted Mansion It’s finally summertime for Ellie and her friends. They plan to celebrate with a nice camping trip, but things don’t exactly go as planned. While out collecting firewood, they stumble upon a girl’s body, but the drama doesn’t end there. After the girl is buried, she comes back to haunt Ellie, waking her up in the middle of the night with her moaning and plaguing her with strange dreams that uncover a disturbing past. Could these dreams be the key to giving the dead girl what she’s longed for all of these years?
