Rohrer's Testimony

Sadly there are many Christians today that are not living in the full victory of the life that Christ has won for them. Though they may confess Christ with their lips and do many good works they have not yielded all that they are to him. They have not known what it is to be crucified with Christ. Instead they continue to live in their own strength and in the power of their own soul life. They have not known what it is to have the resurrected life of Christ abiding in them. In an era where the full truth of the Gospel has largely been watered down to the nearest common denominator this can hardly be surprising. As a result, too many of us are living in failure. At its heart, Rohrer's Testimony is a story of failure. It traces the life of a man who believes himself to be a Christian, yet he has lived out his life in his own strength and by his own ideas. Like the rest of us he is ultimately faced with the reality that we must all face, Christian or not. We cannot serve two masters.
