Black Crusaders (The Kill Team) (Volume 1)

Mike Braddon and Carl Nichols are members of a covert kill squad, carrying out various hits across Iraq using bullet and bomb. Supposedly under the employ of a shadowy rogue section of MI6’s Increment Regiment - a highly secretive counter-terrorist unit - Mike and Carl are recruited by the shadowy Major Christian Mason, to undertake a series of black operations against various targets in Iraq, in a bid to control Iranian-backed insurgent groups. After a series of covert operations, which cause mayhem across Iraq, in which they take down the main players of a series of Iranian insurgency groups through assassination, they uncover a plot to supply sarin to the Colombian rebel group the FARC by a Hezbollah commander known as Omar Asghari. On the pretext of training FARC guerrillas in the use of a giant mortar, Mike and Carl head for Colombia to track down Asghari, and with their new employer being the psychopathic FARC Commander Max (Colonel Max) Ortega; their mission turns into a bloodbath. After an operation goes awry, the giant mortar their shadowy MI6 employers have commissioned them to destroy, wipes out the centre of Bogota, and following an attack on the jungle compound in which they are staying, they eventually take out Asghari and Ortega. Then heading back to Iraq, they hunt down the supplier of the sarin, and in a bid to assassinate him, they end up causing a sickening massacre, killing dozens of innocent civilians.
