The Wishing Phone

Suppose your dad is an Iraq war veteran who has been hospitalized for post-traumatic stress syndrome and your mom is about to remarry this Italian guy who is probably a mobster. And suddenly you find this magical cell-phone that fulfills all your wishes. You think you’ll get it all sorted out now, right? Wrong. Half an hour later you’re walking around with a polar bear for a pet. And after that things start to get really weird. A story about growing up, solving problems, friendship, and well, to be completely truthful, about magic. P.S. But no owls, honestly!
