Like most of Lyn’s work it is based on actual events (that have been sequestered by authorities) this time involving the mysterious disappearance of four college friends and strange evidence found at the site of their last known whereabouts. Their personal information has been changed to protect the innocent. As Fox Mulder steadfastly proclaimed throughout the X-Files TV series of the 1990s, “Something is out there!” But what? After reading this story you may ask yourself – do we really want to know? – Or is (as it has long been contended) that “ignorance is bliss”, and we should just leave well enough alone? You decide.
