The Bowlus Baby Albatross was one of the most popular American designed sailplanes of the late 1930s and early 1940s. Designed by William Hawley Bowlus of San Fernando, California, this beautiful little sailplane has inspired several generations of young and old to pursue carriers in all facets of aviation including the sport of soaring.
