A Critcal Review of Four Types of Air Quality Models Pertinent to MMS Regulatory and Enviornmental Assessment Missions

The Minerals Management Service is responsible for leasing federal offshore lands for oil and gas exploration and development, and for regulating the activities of offshore operators. These responsibilities require the MMS to use different types of air dispersion models to perform tasks such as environmental assessments and regulatory analysis.
