The Birthday Book

One year, I didn’t want a traditional birthday party. Instead, I decided to ask my friends to send me questions to reflect on as I spent my birthday on a mountain top. I believe that the right question at the right time can change your life. They sent me gifts in the form of amazing questions via email, text, and social media. My experience was so powerful that I compiled them into The Birthday Book so that you can use them on your birthday or share them with others on their birthdays. This trumps a regular birthday card. Birthdays are a special time of the year. With each year comes growth. The Birthday Book is a way for you to reflect on how far you’ve come. You don’t have to answer every question or go to a mountain top. Simply flip through the book and sit with any question that resonates with you at this time in your life. If you feel moved to write an answer, feel free to do so. If not, just think about it. You are not the same person you were last year. From year to year your answers will change because you have changed. Hopefully this little ritual will help you see how much you’ve transformed inwardly as much as time and age reflect to us outwardly.
