Praeceptum 181: With Earlier Equivalents of Praecepta 21 and 29

The contents of the original Praeceptum 181 are full of loving wisdom. A close reading reveals the Master’s characteristic inclusiveness of all students and disciples who truly want to experience (or realize) God’s presence. In addition is his clarion call to all gurubhais to spread the Self-realization teachings, those ancient teachings of the Masters of India, unclaimable by any one sect (or organization) because so universal in scope and power. Never had I heard that Yogananda had called (and continues to call) faithful devotees to pick up their ‘certificates’ and proclaim these teachings both by exemplary life and through sharing the teachings.
