Mountain Valley Gold

In 1849, the comfortable, easy life of Scott Adam Austin, a spoiled, arrogant, thirteen year old boy from a well-to-do family, is shattered. He has to live with his father s brother Quinn, who teaches him to shoot, hunt and fight. He grows into a happy young man, who leaves for the Rocky Mountains to be a fur trapper. Life in the mountains is filled with trials, including attacks by Indians, wolves, and bears. He earns the Indian name of The Crazy One . He finds a hidden valley surrounded by huge mountain ranges, and a landslide littered with gold. He travels to the mining town of Sunray and his plans are forever altered when he comes to the rescue of the Cain family, including their beautiful young daughter Gaye. After an ambush attempt on him, and an all out attack on his mine, Scott takes the fight directly to the attackers. Along the way, they have a deadly showdown with thieves, a cattle drive to the valley, a stampede, a dangerous mountain crossing and a deadly flash flood.
