Description

When I sum up the fact I’ve lived… This is the beginning of the famous poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky. One day everyone wants to write something. Some are bloggers; others write novels or make verses. Creativity element is required in any case, my dear reader. If you picked up a book or saw it on the screen of your tablet, you must know - you will go to another dimension, to a different world, almost in parallel one. This is the point in question in the very narrative, which this book is named by. Alternative. We always have something to choose from. The hero of "Alternative" hadn’t to choose: he simply moved in time only a few years, but the events of the Great Patriotic War are being in progress there where he finds himself, in a different scenario. The author’s fantasy, in this case, my personal imagination, works surprisingly interesting as if my brain is temporarily connected to the Universal Mind, the so-called scientifically Universal information field. When it's hunger for information, as if accidentally ideas are thrown in to me, in a newspaper, in another book, on television. You wonder. Our hero of the "Alternative" had to wonder at many things: why after the war a German bomber appeared in the sky over central Russia, why his friend on Alma Mater, whom he knew well, saw him for the first time, why his wife's name is different, and many more why. I talked about the ideas that appear as if from nowhere. The grantor of a new idea or fantasy became Eric Drexler, a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or rather his book “Engines of creation Garden City” (perhaps destruction !?). It turns out, according to Drexler, that from everything, as if by magic, you can create anything. All you need is to enter in a single molecule and to rearrange the atoms at your own discretion. Interesting, useful and dangerous technology, I must say. Only whose hands can it fall into? As scientists are kidding around — whatever they worked with, they always get guns. The hero of a new narrative sacrifices himself to save the world from turning into a terrible tangle of assemblers. In order not to remain a pessimist, I want to add that in the end, it's just a fantasy, a virtual world. We know that everything is transitory and Love is eternal. Read about love other narratives in this book. Michurinsk August 1, 2016
