Adonis and Venus: A DC Love Story

When Lavelle and Adonis’s father walked out of their lives, Lavelle turned to the streets to help support his family. Proving that he is loyal and trustworthy, Lavelle quickly takes a seat next to the well-known king of the streets Frank Lewis as his right hand man. Adonis has always looked up to Lavelle not only is he his older brother, but he’s the only father figure he’s had in his life. He taught Adonis everything he knows about life, the streets, and being a man. For Adonis, life was pretty easy but when he falls for a beautiful girl name Venus, he finds out how hard life can be. Falling in love with Adonis was the best thing that happened to Venus. Growing up with an addict for a mother, she had to fend for herself and her siblings. Anything they needed she had to take care of until she met Adonis who provides for her and her siblings. As she grows into a woman, Venus wants more for herself. Struggling to build a career she finds that life in the DMV isn’t all peaches and cream, neither is love. As what seems to be a war on the streets is starting, Adonis finds it difficult to run his team, find out who is behind the war, and support Venus in her journey to build her career, which causes her to make a tough decision about their relationship. Adonis does all that he can to put the pieces of his relationship back together but is it too late? With Trying to find out who’s gunning for them, a growing romance between friends, a new love interest for Venus, and an unwanted relationship, Adonis must get his head in the game and his mind right before he loses everything.
