This is the first volume of a collection in three volumes named Mechanics for Olympiads. Throughout this collection, the author Renato Brito discusses Newton's laws of motion under a new perspective when compared to similar works by analyzing, through both the inertial and non-linear frames of reference, the whole of Newtonian dynamics in rectilinear and curvilinear movements, including more specific topics such as the influence of friction and geometric constraints.
