From the start the of christian reformation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the new testament. We still struggle with the idea of building the body of Christ vs building for Christ. We are to build the body of Christ by growing the number of souls to his house not on earth but in Heaven. By being a witness for the world we partake in God's goals and directions, which are dealings with the spiritual and soul not of the flesh. As the church continues to grow it tend to fall away from the individuals that sum up the church and begins to execute policies that manage the individuals as a whole. Taking away the individualist that make up the body of Christ. We fall from the true purpose of leading by examples and tending the souls of the church and we begin to count the individuals without accounting the actual souls that are meant to occupying the body of Christ in Heaven. We are to tend the souls that have taken up truest function of the gospel to spread it around the world. To build the body of Christ through teaching and examples of our lives. We know, how can one be a witness to the gospel while their actions say otherwise. We have to be cautious in our dealings in this world. The bibles teachings and commands us to walk in love and unity. If we are to be a witness of this Christ like love how can we display UN-Christ like tendencies.
