Gas-Storage Assessment For New York State: Principles and Practice

This volume assesses the potential underground natural gas storage sites in western New York State. The report provides a detailed study of selected formations with potential for gas storage. An evaluation of the existing low-deliverability depleted gas reservoirs and, through study of the geology of south-central New York, an assessment of potential sites for high-deliverability salt cavern storage is included.
