This is a book for children with a parent who is depressed. The book defines depression, outlines the most common symptoms, describes how the parent feels and how depression can affect the parent's life, describes the treatments available for the parent, and reassures the child that the depression is not the child's fault and there is nothing the child can do to make the parent get better. It also explores the child's feelings, and offers many self-help tips to the child for coping with a parent's depression. The book contains an interactive/drawing element and a Note to Parents and Other Caregivers.
