Women and Literacy: Moving to Power and Participation: Women's Studies Quarterley (Women's Studies Quarterly)

In a world dominated by information technologies, more than half of the planet’s women are illiterate. And over the last 25 years, the gender-gap in literacy—in print, technology, health, economics and politics—has only grown.
