Educational Technology: The Development of a Concept

This work traces the development of educational technology from its inception in the fields of engineering, science, and audiovisual education and its official beginning in the 1960s to the present. The author discusses the theory and definitions of educational technology and shows how the field has evolved and been systematized over the decades.
