Mrs. Goodstory

Who is Mrs. Goodstory? Part explorer, part magician, she is a storyteller who takes a young friend on adventures where the unexpected is expected. "Stories should be full of surprises," she says, as they encounter rude crocodiles, cowboys who have galloped into the wrong story, and ship captains who get lost in blizzards. But one day Mrs. Goodstory forgets what happens next, leaving them stranded midair, and the child must come to the rescue with a story of his own. "Bravo! A perfect ending!" cheers Mrs. Goodstory, as they land safely in a circus tent. But why end here? The child and the reader discover that with just a few quick ideas, they have the power to go anywhere on the wings of a story--and still be home in time for warm banana muffins.
