American Indian Love Stories: Traditional Stories of Love and Romance from Tribes Across America

This collection of Indian love stories is a rare find. Traditional love stories handed down through families from generation-to-generation, these heart-warming, and sometimes playful, tales are written in a manner that lets the reader feel as if he were sitting at the feet of an elder. Although it is difficult to obtain love stories from American Indians, author Herman Grey, an elder from the Mohave tribe, was fortunate to acquire these stories when he was a young man from friends representing various tribes including the Pima, Tohono O'odham, Apache, Hopi and Navajo.
