Ugo Foscolo: "Dei Sepolcri" and "Ultime lettere di Jacopo Ortis" (abridged)

Ugo Foscolo was one of Italys major 19th century poets, expressing the mutation from Enlightenment to Romanticism, from French Revolution to Restoration, giving voice to a lay faith based on the highest human values. 'Ultime lettere di Jacopo Ortis' is an autobiographical story in the form of letters and two Odes, but his most successul poem is 'Dei Sepolcri'.
