My Best Handwriting, Book 2

My Best Handwriting is designed to make the unpopular topic of handwriting instruction meaningful, interactive and fun! Teachers will welcome the opportunity to introduce this important skill and the manual, visual, kinesthetic and tactile reinforcement that it provides. Although often overlooked, research has shown that poor handwriting can actually lower a student's grade. This new four-book series provides the opportunity for teachers to raise their students' grades with activities that include direct instruction, self-assessment, writing and practice in a research-based sequence of activities leading to mastery. The series takes K-3 learners from prewriting to fluent cursive. Book 2 focuses on manuscript, numbers, words, and simple sentences.
