Interactive Science Dictionary in Haitian Creole

Diksyonè Syans Mwen,The Interactive Science Dictionary is an illustrated and interactive dictionary with voice support in Haitian Creole. It provides familiarity with science content themes and key academic language encountered in science classes at the elementary level. All entries are illustrated and accompanied by read along voice-over to support Haitian Creole speakers in science classroom. Some entries contain simulation, observation pieces and 3-D manipulation to facilitate understanding and to accommodate diverse learning strategies. The Interactive Science Dictionary covers the vocabulary in four areas of science instruction Life Science, Earth Science, Space Science, and Physical Science. It is research-based, endorsed by many teachers. It is available online, on CD-Rom and in book format.
