The Price of Being a Princess

The story takes place in Delaware, starting in New Castle County and ending in Dover. The main character, Lanai, is a young lady that comes from a fortunate, but not-so-proud background. She is the product of a one-night stand, but her father is a noble man and takes care of his responsibilities. He provides her, her mother, and “adopted” sister with the best lifestyle that money could buy. While Lanai doesn't want for anything materialistic, she does yearn for the father-daughter connection that she never had.
