ECG Interpretation

ECG Interpretation reviews concepts in physics and physiology that form the basis of understanding how an electrical signal is produced in the heart and recorded on the skin, applies these concepts to the normal ECG, and references the normal ECG against ECG recordings that evidence pathology. Pathological conditions with important common characteristics are grouped and presented with relevant background material. Chapters are heavily illustrated to communicate key concepts clearly and effectively. A Self-Test reinforces those concepts and challenges the student to recognize normal and abnormal tracings, to make diagnoses, and to comment on their findings.
