The birchwood box and its contents that Annie discovers this time takes her on a quest for American Native information. This ultimately causes a disruption in one of the town's leading families. I could hardly believe the way this scenario was portrayed--adults acting as bad or worse than immature teenagers! Anyway it definitely gave a little twist to the story line.
