The art of Tara Sullivan and Sybil Shane is calming, inspirational, and nourishing. Their work is influenced by sparse, clean Japanese design, in the tradition of artists such as Utagawa Hiroshige and Alphonse Mucha. Together they collaborated to create new images and paintings through a process that inspired their collective creativity, resulting in some of their most compelling works. Tara and Sybil worked together on many popular calendars, cards and other artistic projects. While we mourn the loss of Sybil Shane, the 2014 Reflections wall calendar celebrates the ongoing power of this fruitful artistic collaboration.
