Student's Discussion Guide to The Outsiders

The student’s version of Talent Development Middle Grades’ Discussion Guide to S.E. Hinton's ground-breaking young adult novel The Outsiders includes selected vocabulary words, highlights important literary devices and features, suggests literature-related writing and extension activities, and provides space for brief constructed responses to questions on each chapter. A brief biography of Hinton and suggestions for further reading are also included. This curriculum, developed at Johns Hopkins University, is used in schools across the country.
