Emmy has heard about the legend of the Jeweler. She doesn't think much about it until the day grandmother tells her of a book that belonged to her deceased mother. She finds something terrifying, yet captivating in this book. As a result she is forced to decide what she believes about the legend. She concludes it is too scary to believe. But as she continues to pretend the legend isn't real, circumstances and very unlikely people influence her to think otherwise.
