Description
REBA LUNDY is a story about a black woman living in the Deep South during World War II. Reba’s father and son are killed after being terrorized by whites. Reba’s husband, Ernest, who had been inducted into the Army, goes A.W.O.L. and is court marshaled. Bitter over the fate of her family, Reba murders the white man responsible for the death of her loved ones. Getting out of the stockade, Ernest learns that Reba is sentenced to die. Heartbroken and bitter, he is sent to North Africa. The unit he is attached to is torn to pieces by the German Army. He survives to become a power in the desert. Oil puts him on the international scene where he discovers that Reba is alive. He creates an oil embargo against the U.S. and, in direct confrontation with President Nixon, takes Reba out of prison.
