Life after Death: Learning to Live Again After the Death of a Spouse

After reading Dr. Hinton's book, "Diary of a Widow," I was in awe of her courage and steadfastness of faith, as she was able to chronicle her experiences of loss in the midst of her mourning. The loss of a mate is an earth-shattering experience that leaves an indelible mark upon the person that is going through it. But Dr. Hinton had the goods. She had the spiritual momentum needed to go through her chasm of grief and to make it "faith-ly" and safely through to the other side, by the grace given her from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, meaning, she didn't just sit idly by, parked in the past, with no apparent power to press on into the present. She had the power to press, because of her faith, in an ever-present God! Dr. Velecia A. Hinton has found the key. She is the voice that comes back from the grave shouting fiercely that out of the darkness of death and despair from the loss of a spouse you can still live, love and laugh again. Indeed your mourning can be turned into dancing. I trust that this volume will be a blessing to many that have had to walk through this hour of despair.
