Cecelia Spenndrum's life plan is working out beautifully: New York City, handsome boyfriend who just happens to be a lawyer, and a job at the top publishing company in the city. Then, she is assigned to Danny Mann. Danny Mann is a has-been rock star from the seventies. His finances are low, so he decides to write his autobiography...only he doesn't know how. As his ghostwriter, Cecelia must endure his appalling lifestyle and write a flattering autobiography for him.
