The Wee Bannock: A Scottish Fairy Tale

The author, Ronald W. Lemley, and his wife, Maricarmen, divide their time between their home in Santa Rosa, California, and their apartment in Magdalena del Mar, Peru, where they work as bilingual teachers. Ronald, who comes from a long line of teachers, has a master s degree in Spanish from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He is a graphic and sculptural artist who makes faithful replicas of pre-Columbian figurines. He is proud of his mixed Mexican and Scottish heritage and also writes many stories in Spanish. He has traveled extensively in Europe and Latin America and is especially interested in places that have a tradition associated with a belief in little people. He believes in magic and the indomitable power of the human spirit.
