Swan Songs While Breathless is a collection of poems, prose and lyrics written by Kevin Sheltra. From love to death to loss to music, he covers all aspects of what he sees around him. Whether it be a lullaby for a late night or an anti-war protest. The poems collected here were written over the last year although most were written in the summer of ’07. Kevin Sheltra presents them without censors or changes to the content in the same form as Allan Ginsberg, Abbie Hoffman, Sylvia Plath and many of today’s contemporary authors. He strives for realism in the context and the relationship of the reader, be it read aloud in a group of people or alone in a room. There truly is something for everyone.
