From Rags to Riches Through Christ

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, encouraged by a Catholic Priest, and confident that the Lord is the Master of all that she has achieved, Sophie reveals her life story to give hope to those who feel hopeless. Her family was poor; and she was traumatized by her father's death when she was nine and her brother's death the following year. Sophie soared over past obstacles with great enthusiasm during high school. She later had a taste of what it was like to be a "rich girl" as she flew to Bermuda, then Hawaii. She traveled by ship to Europe where she toured six countries. Sophie is married and had eight pregnancies. The first baby lived three days, the third baby lived one hour, and there was one miscarriage. Sophie also sought treatment for addiction to Valium. When Sophie, her husband, and their daughter were plagued with cancer in 2002, she found an eternal treasure of peace and strength through Christ, during Mass and the Holy Eucharist.
