Jesus Parable of the Sower explains how the Word of God is like a seed to be planted into our hearts. Like seeds we plant in the garden, the growth must first take place underground before we can see the fruit. Jesus made the comparison that like a seed, you cannot always see or feel God s Word working in your life. You only need to plant and trust the seed will do its job. Jesus compared our hearts to the ground that we plant God s Word into. The Bible tells us that it is our thought life that determines the condition of our hearts. So, when we have thoughts of being mean or angry, they should be seen as weeds trying to sneak into our hearts. In order to get the most out of our planted seed, we need to pull out any weeds that try to grow. Plant God s Word in your heart and trust His seed will work for you too!
