Author Dannette Barras is a registered nurse in Prescott, Arizona, where she has noticed firsthand the need for girl role models. Her work has taken her as far as Kenya to provide medical services. She has held several positions in God's service, including assistant youth director. With the help of her husband, Bryan, she has raised three sons and is currently raising twin daughters.
