As Sally struggles to put her family's life back together, she finds her answer in her love of God. Now retired, author Shirley A. Olson wrote this story after her husband died. At that time she was working as a registered nurse in a hospital. She was motivated to help others deal with tragedy, since she could not find much help for survivors when she needed it. "I was inspired by my husband's braveness until his body and mind deteriorated. At this time I knew that I needed help from a higher power to get through these hard times and that this experience would be helpful for others. This is what inspired me to write this story."
