The new 12th edition presents two new and important Supreme Court cases concerning the right to confrontation. Incorporating the restyled Federal Rules of Evidence, the book introduces a revised organization of the materials on hearsay, to reflect recent developments on the confrontation right. The chapter on the best evidence rule has been extensively updated and numerous changes bring other chapters up to date. Oversized cases have been edited, older materials having a tired feel are dropped, but teaching favorites that have stood the test of time are retained.
