Summer Grass

Thomas Claiborne, a veteran of the war in Southeast Asia, is going to college on the G.I. Bill. Falling in love with a coed forces him to face the traumatic stress from his past. When a vivid memory surfaces - that of a highly classified and politically sensitive mission into Cambodia by a Special Forces team - a new battlefield emerges from the old. The mission, which was part of an attempt to assassinate a high-ranking Cambodian official, becomes a political hot potato after journalists discover the story and investigate. In an attempt to save themselves, the VIPs begin to have the surviving members of the mission team terminated.
