Young Ashley Louis loses her mother in a terrible automobile accident on Christmas Day in New York. Then while in her state of shock and delayed grief, she finds out that she has to move south, to Georgia, to live with her Uncle Jack.

Ashley moves to Georgia, attends her new school, makes new friends, and falls in love. But through all this she still couldn’t talk about her mother’s death…that was until her high school friends experienced ultimate grief themselves in an event that happened in just “A Blink of an Eye.”

Savannah Strickland is a southern teenage author. She can be found spending most of her time writing or listening to music. A Blink of an Eye is Savannah's first novel and she hopes to continue writing for years to come.
