Adventures Around the World

In the collections of stories called Travels with Ferg, Stephenie Swift Ferguson describes a few of the most memorable adventure trips she and her husband, Professor William E. Ferguson, made during more than six decades of marriage. Journals, field notes, letters to family members, and photography documented these stories.

Their thousands of photos have been published in specialized college science textbooks, secondary and elementary grade science books. Hundreds of their scientific pictures have been printed in Encyclopaedia Britannica, science magazines, coffee table books and calendars.

In retirement, Stephenie (Stevie) has greatly enjoyed telling and writing stories of their adventures around the world.

On June 21, 1947, one and a half years after meeting on the ski slopes of the Sierra, we were married.
