The Portrait Postmortem

In 1830, the Paris Sûreté Nationale and Inspector Laurent Laois exhume a skeleton from a vacant field. A formerly wealthy portrait artist stops to watch. One glance at the delicate frontal bones combine André Alinard's anatomical expertise and artistic senses. When his third eye reveals the murder victim’s face, he has no choice. To solve a murder, André must paint the victim’s portrait -- postmortem.
