Forgiveness: An Offensive Weapon: The Conquering of Warfare: Behind the Seen!

This book reveals the many facets of forgiveness. The Hebrew word for “forgive” is calach (saw-lakh’). It is reserved especially to mark the pardon extended to sinners by God! The act of forgiving is closely related to atonement—the covering of sin and the sinner with sacrifice! God clearly demonstrated this forgiveness in the sacrificing of His only begotten Son. Although Jesus’ sacrifice required the shedding of blood, it is faith in God that saves. So it is in forgiving without bloodshed, it is faith in God that saves! Yet it’s a universal precept of God’s infinite mercy that affords the divine restoration of favor to the offender, either by his own repentance or the intercession of others. Therefore, forgiveness is woven into the very essence of the fruit of your spirit; it dispels all myths and used offensively, gives each of us the benefit of “first play.”
